This was one of the first pieces that I created after graduating from art school in which I used paint again after being inundated with Post Modernist theory and rhetoric. The title is a response to the idea that painting is a dead medium, and I used this multiple paneled piece to work out the demons and bugaboos that resulted from having that mantra chanted in my presence all those years. As you can see, rumors of its death have been greatly exaggerated.
