My paintings are about wealth and perversity and animal pleasures. They are packed full of roiling, orgiastic excess, brilliant debauchery, and unfettered desires. They are maximalist documents of everything of which human beings are capable, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful.

The painting on my home page is part of a series that was begun with the theme of Imperialism as its focus. In this particular image a bizarre economy is under way in which the beautiful and exotic birds are the slaves and chattel of the ugly storks, who make costumes from their feathers and also use them as sex slaves and other forms of amusement. It is a commentary on our own economy and the basic human inclination towards selfishness, which is now more relevant and apparent than ever.

And it's not like I'm making it up.
