This piece was allowed to form a woody, deep red, mushroom fruit body, with a velvety coating of mycelial roots.
The piece is uncured, meaning that the mycelial roots are inert, but still alive.
It is PH neutral, and should be handled in a similar fashion as an artwork made from watercolor paper
